Federal Write-In Ballot
The Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) is a backup vote-by-mail ballot which may be used by all absent Uniformed Service voters both ‘stateside’ and outside the continental United States, as well as U.S. citizens residing overseas. The FWAB should be used as an emergency in which you have not received the regular vote-by-mail ballot. If you have requested and not received your regard vote-by-mail ballot, call our office at 850.674.8568 to check your vote-by-mail status. Otherwise, you may download the FWAB by going to http://www.fvap.gov/election-materials. State Write-In Ballot
Pursuant to Florida Statute 101.6951(1), An overseas voter may request, not earlier than 180 days before a general election, a state write-in vote-by-mail ballot from the supervisor of elections in the county of registration. In order to receive a state write-in ballot, the voter shall state that due to military or other contingencies that preclude normal mail delivery, the voter cannot vote a vote-by-mail ballot during the normal vote-by-mail voting period.
